Regional Medical Plan Options
Depending on where you live, you may also be eligible to select Kaiser Medical or the UPMC Plan for your medical care coverage.
Kaiser Medical
Kaiser offers comprehensive coverage and the convenience of coordinated care among Kaiser providers. We offer a High Deductible Health Plan option for teammates in California, Colorado, Georgia, Washington, and in the Northwest (Oregon and Southern Washington) and Mid-Atlantic (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia). If you choose this plan, you can enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Hawaii teammates have the option of enrolling in the Point of Service (POS) 405 plan. This plan is compatible with the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account.

Per Senate Bill 1529: Primary care visit — $5 Copay (after Plan Deductible) for first 3 visits per year. First 3 visits are any combination of primary care non-specialty medical services, mental health outpatient services, naturopathic medicine visits, substance use disorder outpatient services, or telemedicine services.
UPMC HDHP EPO
If you live in Pennsylvania (certain zip codes), the UPMC HDHP EPO might be your best choice. This plan blends elements of a traditional HMO and a PPO. Similar to a PPO, you don’t have to select a primary care physician. But like an HMO, you must receive your care from network physicians and facilities for your care to be covered. You can also enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA).
